    A. J. Temsamani

    A.J. Temsamani is a member of the firm of Schlissel Ostrow Karabatos, PLLC. A.J. has been practicing exclusively in the area of matrimonial and family law for virtually his entire legal career. He is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York where he was president of the Student Government Association. A.J. is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, from whom he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1991. He is a Barrister member of the New York Family Law, American Inns of Court, a member of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, a member of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, and a member of the Puerto Rican Bar Association. He has lectured for the Nassau Academy of Law on several matrimonial topics, including custody, visitation and relocation. A.J. has also lectured on the negotiation of matrimonial disputes to students enrolled in an intensive family law practice seminar at Touro Law School. He has been a mentor for law students enrolled in the Child and Family Advocacy Fellowship Program at the Hofstra University School of Law Center for Children, Families and the Law. A.J. also provides pro bono legal services for clients through the Volunteer Lawyers Project and has been active as an early neutral evaluator for matrimonial actions commenced in Nassau County.

    A.J. has co-chaired or chaired trials in State Supreme and Family Courts.
